City Patrol

 

City Patrol are a team of City Enforcement Officers that cover the whole of Southampton, responsible for:

  • Patrolling the streets, parks and open spaces in the city
  • Providing a uniformed presence in the city
  • Detecting, detering and tackling Anti-Social Behaviour and 'Enviro-Crime' - littering, dog fouling, graffitti, abandoned vehicles et cetera
  • Promoting responsibile citizenship through education and enforcement

The City Enforcement Officers wear a distinctive uniform and carry Southampton City Council identification. They patrol in vans, on foot, or by bucycle. The vans are clearly marked with information on how to contact the team.
