Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

  

 

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service, commonly known as PALS, aims to:  

•  Improve the experience for the patient when they receive NHS treatment from Southampton City Primary Care Trust
•  Provide information on NHS and other relative services
•  Act as a mediator should communication breakdown
•  Ensure that feedback received is used to improve patient care

 

The PALS service is strictly confidential and is here to help patients, their relatives, carers or staff for when they have concerns, problems or don't know where to turn, or if they would like some advice.   PALS will endeavour to find a solution to problems quickly and effectively before they become a complaint.
