A peer-led group who meet for tea/coffee and a chat. This may include loneliness, panic attacks, depression, feeling isolated, alternative therapies, mood foods or anything the group feels is relevant.

Tuesdays 10.00 a.m. group meets behind Meredith Towers, Tunstall Road
Join our friendly group of local people who wish to improve their fitness by walking. This gentle stroll around Netley Common is a circular route on fairly flat ground. A great opportunity to look at the wide range of wildlife on this last remaining piece of heath land in Hampshire.
Open to anyone, just turn up!
Cost £1.50 per session Tuesdays 1.45-2.30 p.m.

A form of exercise suitable for all ages and levels of fitness which includes a sequence of gentle flowing movements which help improve co-ordination, balance and concentration. A great form of relaxation.

Do you want to eat seasonal foods but do not know how to cook them? Then we can help with recipes.
You place and pay for your order on the Wednesday morning, then collect it the following week. Each large bag of fruit or vegetables cost £2.50.

For people concerned about their weight. Great ideas for increasing exercise, healthy eating advice, the opportunity to share recipes and occasional food tasting sessions. There is a weigh-in, discussion and plenty of support.

Do you want to stop smoking? You dont have to do it alone! This service provides a combination of support, information and advice on drug therapies available, a formula that helps people give up and remain a non smoker. This is a FREE and confidential NHS service.

A free service available to anyone living in Thornhill who is 65+ or has a child/ children under the age of 5.
A member of the Thornhill Health and Wellbeing Team will visit your home, assess the property for dangers and offer accident prevention advice. Some appropriate items of safety equipment will be offered free of charge to the house holder including; child safety gates, door jammers, socket covers, childs harness and reins, night lights, bath mats and helping hands. The Thornhill Handyperson will accompany us on the visit to fit any safety equipment that is provided.
