Working LInks are a national organisation that specialise in offering support, guidance and development to those individuals who are looking to secure employment. We are working in partnership with Thornhill Plus You to provide this valuable support to residents living in the Thornhill area.

Working Links have a proven track record and since being established in April 2000 we have returned 1008 individuals to the work place, helping them to surcure suitable, sustainable jobs.

So what’s on offer?
Everyone who qualifies for help on the programme will get their own personal consultant who, over a cource of three weeks will get, to know you, will understand the issues you face and will have a clear understanding of the type of work you are looking for or are qualified to do.

After this you will attend a four week Personal Development Programme. This will be delivered by two consultants on our team and provides you with the skills you need to secure a new job. You will also have a CV produced at the beginning of these sessions.

Once you have completed the Personal Development Programme you will move onto our intensive four week job search sessions and by the end, not only will you have a professional CV, you will be able to:

• Fill in application forms correctly
• Manage an interview appropriately
• Job search effectively
• Telephone canvas effectively
• Feel more motivated and confident
• Increase you self-belief
• Have better understand of yourself and why you do the things or think the things you do
• Be confident to obtain feedback from employers
