The Solent Credit Union is a not-for-profit organisation run by members for the members. Thornhill residents can join (one-off joining fee of just £1) and save regularly for three months, you can apply for a loan at 1% per month (12.68% APR). That means if you borrow £250 from us over six months you would only have to pay back around £10 per week or £258 in total.

You may not need a loan and just want to save for a holiday, or for next Christmas. You can save with the Solent Credit Union via 'Collection Points' at the Natterbox, which is open every Thursday morning between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. knowing that your money is safe because it is 100% protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. The government guarantees your savings.
