The Tenant Involvement Officer is part of Southampton City Council's Tenant Participation Unit. Because of this Thornhill's tenants and leaseholders have lots of different opportunities for involvement - at whatever level suits them so that we can get to hear everyone's views. This can be as simple as a 5 minutes phone call. Below are a few of the ways tenants can get involved. Residents can register their interest by clicking here to go to the sign up form.

you occasionally for a chat about a housing issue.

Panel – We email you for your thoughts about
a housing issue.
Discussion
Group – You could
be part of a small group of tenants/leaseholders looking at
issues that affect you and your home.
Policy
Group – Help shape and influence the policies
that affect you and your home – this group meets regularly.
Reading
Group – The group
monitors the Council's information leaflets to make sure they
make sense and will be read.
Block/Street
Reps – This is a role where you represent
your street or block to highlight local problems.
Tenant
Association – We can advise you how to form
or join a tenants group. We can train and support the group
to be effective.
Conferences
– You can go to different conferences and attend workshops
that interest you.
