What
does the Studies Fund do?
The
Studies Fund is used to commission initial feasibility work
and consultations for larger projects within the Thornhill
Plus You programme.
Through
this process, crucial issues are looked at before starting
applications for Thornhill Plus You and external funding.
This
greatly aids the development of the project, meaning the final
project will offer better value for money and is more likely
to deliver successfully and provide greater benefits to Thornhill.
One
of the additional benefits is that the information prepared
through the project study can be used to identify and apply
for additional funding.
How
long will this project run for?
The
project began in January 2005, and is due to complete in March
2008.
Which
major projects have benefited from the Studies Fund?
The
following projects have all been supported by a piece of work
