PROJECT DETAILS
Greenways
The Greenways project intends to create a network of walk, path and cycle routes throughout Thornhill enhancing the natural environment, and develop spaces for a range of activity and play opportunities for all.
The map shows proposals which are open for your views. Contact us by filling in our online

Play
The Play project is linked
closely to both the Greenways and the External Improvements to Walk
Up Blocks projects. We hope to provide exciting, well-designed and
creative play opportunities across the Thornhill area for different
age and interest groups. Each site on the map was identified as
a possible area for play, but we need your views to turn this into
reality. Contact us by filling in our online
form
External Improvements to Walk-Up Blocks
This project will improve the spaces around 88 walk up blocks in Thornhill, shown on the map below. Residents in each block will identify the main issues that they want to see addressed through the project which could include work to pathways, lighting, cycle storage, drying areas, landscaping and limited parking facilities.

this project please contact us by filling in our online

Pilot Project – A pilot project took place between October 2006 to April 2007, with residents in two blocks ( 2-28 Jerome Court and 167-193 Byron Road) identifying priorities for work, then staying involved with the process as the ideas became reality.
Main Project – If you live in one of the other 86 walk up blocks in Thornhill, you haven't missed out! The project will soon be working across Thornhill, and we will be getting in touch with you to start the process. If you have any questions please get in touch with us, and news will also be posted on the My Environment section of the website in coming weeks…
