The proposals to transform the Hinkler Parade area, including block 2 - 32 Marston Road were approved by Southampton City Council's Cabinet on 24 November 2008.

Work will start in Summer 2010 on the creation of new family homes and shopping facilities on this site. Before work starts there will be opportunities for residents to contribute ideas, feedback and to become involved with the redevelopment.

Over 200 people have already attended consultation events and completed questionnaires about the project and it is hoped we can increase on this level of involvement over the consultation period.
