| Thornhill
residents had their gardens spick and span this week
for the judging of Thornhill in Bloom, Thornhill Plus
You's annual gardening competition, which encourages
residents to transform areas in the community into colourful
and vibrant ‘green' spaces.
Judges,
Christine Joy, Customer Services Supervisor at Haskins,
Vanessa Hillman, resident and keen gardener, Bob Reeve,
Thornhill Tidy Team Coordinator and Kate Martin, judge
of Southampton in Bloom, were especially impressed with
how residents were able to maintain the impressive gardening
standards, in spite of the spell of bad weather the
UK has recently had. |

The
winners will be awarded with Haskins Garden Centre vouchers
and have the opportunity to attend an awards ceremony
in September. The successful green fingered residents
