| KEEPING
FIT AND HAVING FUN WITH A RETURN TO NETBALL COURSE
Motiv8
Thornhill, a project jointly funded by Thornhill Plus
You and Southampton City Council, are calling out to
all women over the age of sixteen to try out the new
‘Return to Netball' sessions, running every Tuesday
evening 6pm to 7pm, at the Grove Park Business and Enterprise
College.
Each
session will include a mixture of fitness building,
basic netball skills and playing friendly matches. The
sport is a fun and social way of returning to the sport
many women haven't played since they were at school.
‘Return
to Netball' is being funded by Sport Hampshire and Isle
of Wight and has been organised by Priya Samuel, Partnership
Netball Development Officer and Motiv8 Thornhill. Charlotte
Sharp e from Motiv8 Thornhill commented: “We hope
the session will provide an excellent way of getting
women involved in sport, whilst providing a positive
and fun experience”.
The
session has already proved very popular with residents
of Thornhill and the city, with over twenty women registering
for the course. If you would like further information,
please call Kirsty Ball or Charlotte Sharpe at Motiv8
Thornhill on 023 8091 5812 or email kball@thornhillplusyou.co.uk.
