FAMILY
FARM FUN DAY FOR RESIDENTS IN THORNHILL
This
Easter holiday young people in Thornhill will be able
to enjoy the experience, sights and sounds of a farm
full of cuddly chicks, miniature ponies, prickly hedgehogs
and many more animals, when a mobile farm visits Thornhill.
The
event, which has been organised by Motiv8 Thornhill,
a project jointly funded by Thornhill Plus You and Southampton
City Council, is an opportunity for adults and children
to learn about the different types animals with a hands-on
approach, building confidence and awareness in an enjoyable,
educational and safe environment.
Organiser
Kirsty Ball from Motiv8 Thornhill commented: “The
mobile farm is a magical way for families to encounter
many different types of animals without having to travel
great lengths. There is even the opportunity for families
to feed the lambs.”
The
farm will be arriving at St. Christopher's Church in
Thornhill on Friday 13th April from 12 p.m. to 2.30
p.m. Tickets are £1, booking is advisable to avoid
